Current legal basis

The "Production Safety Law of the People's Republic of China" was passed in 2002 and revised in 2009, 2014 and 2021. The current text is subject to the third amendment adopted on June 10, 2021, and will come into effect on September 1, 2021.

• Establish and improve the safety production responsibility system and safety production rules and regulations for all employees;
• Build a dual prevention mechanism for hierarchical management and control of security risks and investigation and management of hidden dangers;
• Ensure safe production investment and deploy safety production management personnel in accordance with the law;
• Carry out employee education and training and special operations personnel qualification management;
• Develop and practice emergency rescue plans for production safety accidents;
• The person in charge shall be fully responsible for the safety production work of the unit.

The Production Safety Law is the basic law in the field of production safety. The production, storage, use, operation and transportation of hazardous chemicals must also comply with the "Regulations on the Safety Management of Hazardous Chemicals", catalogs and related licensing, registration, storage and transportation and national standard requirements.
