Common Triggers

• Obtaining new physical, chemical, toxicological or ecological hazard data;
• Changes in formulations, impurities or concentration ranges;
• Coordinate classification or update of applicable regulations;
• Changes in use, exposure scenarios or risk management measures;
• The competent authority or customer points out that the SDS is inconsistent with the label.

Don't just update for a fixed number of years

SDS does not have a uniform “redo every three years” rule that applies to all countries.Regulatory and product change monitoring shall be established, revised as soon as classification or safety information is affected, and version records shall be maintained.
