What is REACH

REACH, Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, covers the registration, evaluation, authorisation and restriction of chemical substances and establishes the European Chemicals Agency ECHA.

Relationship to SDS

Article 31 of REACH stipulates the obligation to provide SDS in the supply chain, and Annex II stipulates the preparation requirements.Commission Regulation (EU) 2020/878 has replaced Annex II and the old format transition period has ended.Exports to the EU are also subject to CLP classification, labelling and packaging requirements.
